I have a very eclectic background. I am a preacher’s kid who grew up working with computers. After working with BASIC in junior high I moved on to QBasic and Visual Basic 4 in high school. While pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems I learned Java, Visual Basic 6, and finally VisualBasic.NET. During my internship with Cajunworks I developed my ASP.NET skills by helping create an administration section for the Association of Louisiana Electric Cooperatives. After graduating with one of the highest grade point averages in the CIS department, I worked for two years with BayouTech Services as a Web Applications Developer/IT Technician. During this time I worked on various projects that involved basic HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, PHP, and other web applications development related skills. Over the years I have had a variety of IT related jobs. I have spent the last two years as the Information Systems Administrator at T. Baker Smith, a professional consulting firm of engineers, environmental professionals, surveyors, and offshore employees. I am also very involved in our local church, Landmark, here in Lafayette, Louisiana. I am part of the youth team and the adult praise team and enjoy participating in both ministries. I am also currently pursuing a Bachelors of Theology as well. To sum everything up, I am a ministry minded computer savvy young man who believes in doing his absolute best in every effort that he pursues. I believe that this will be reflected in any project that our clients present. |
